1st Vice President
Darleata Tyler-Osborne
Class of 199?, Lifetime Member of UMES NAA
At University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), Darleata earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. While at UMES, she was a part of the Ambiance Dance Team. In addition to her role as 1st Vice President she is also a member of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.-Alexandria, VA Chapter.

2nd Vice President
Walter Jones
Class of 1974, Lifetime Member of UMES NAA
Walter I. Jones, Brigadier General (Ret, USAF) graduated from UMES with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He also earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Troy University and has attended National Security Executive courses at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He is a 30- year veteran of the USAF where he served in various senior leadership positions of command, control, communications and cybersecurity. After retiring from the military in 2004, he co-founded and served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of ExecuTech Strategic Consulting headquartered in Woodbridge, Virginia.
In addition to his leadership position at ExecuTech, he finds time to be involved in a number of civic and professional associations and boards which include: University System of Maryland Foundation, University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Board of Visitors (BOV) in an advisory capacity to the President, UMES.
He has also served as the VP Membership and Financial Secretary, UMES National Alumni Association (NAA) during the period 2016-2020.

Che C. Rogers
Class of ----
The Honorable Ché C. Rogers is a presiding judge in the Thirty-First Judicial District of Virginia sitting in the Prince William General District Court.
Ché was awarded the General District Court Trial Attorney of the Year in 2017 by the Prince William County Bar Association. His proudest work was being a member of the indigent-defense bar in the Prince William General District and Circuit Courts.

Ché served on active duty in the United States Coast Guard for seven years before law school and obtained the rank of Lieutenant. He also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College, and a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.

Ché is a native of Baltimore City, but has resided in Northern Virginia for almost 20 years. His wife, Tosha, is a veterinarian, and a Class of 2000 alumna of UMES. They reside in Haymarket with their two children and three dogs.

Treasurer
Christie Redding Williams
Class of 1997, Lifetime Member of UMES NAA
Christie Redding Williams is a Business Analyst/Technical Writer in the Information Technology industry. She earned a Bachelor's of English degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Master's of Arts degree in English from Miami University of Ohio. She al so studied for the Ph.D. in English at the University of Maryland College Park.
Prior to working in IT, Christie taught English, African American Studies, and Women's Studies at a Middle Tennessee State University. She also writes fiction and is currently working on a writing project that is close to her heart.
Christie is a member of the Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta. Some of her favorite things to do is reading, writing, and crocheting.
She is originally from Baltimore, but currently resides in Fairfax County, Virginia where she enjoys volunteering in her community, spending time with her husband of 20 years and their 16 year old daughter.

3rd Vice President
Randy Hayes
Class of 2007
Randy Hayes started the University of Maryland Eastern Shore as an Hotel Restaurant Management major before switching to Business Administration.

Randy made good use of his time at UMES by staying active on campus. He served as the Vice President of the Sports Marketing Club and also tutored students in need.
​
Randy was also an active member of the Praise Fellowship team on Campus.
​
Randy has taken the skills gained at UMES and since built a career around it. He was an award-winning store manager in retail before joining USDA in federal service since 2019. Randy currently works at the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services Agency.
